IACM has partnered with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) in Dec, 2015 and will be setting up training facilities under the Project Name “IACM – Education Hub”. The project is expected to benefit approx. 63000+ students in next 10 years.
IACM Education Hubs will be established across strategically identified cities and towns, which will develop workforce on global standards in hardware, networking and security training along with developing workforce in sales and service required in Retail, BFSI and Electronic sectors as per qualification packs developed by respective SSCs. In turn, it will help in building skilled youth for better employment and will also encourage entrepreneurship in their respective states and regions.
The flagship scheme for skill training of 24+ lacs youth implemented by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) through National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). Skill training was done based on the national skill qualification framework (NSQF) and industry led standards. IACM has trained 15000+ candidates in Mining, Electronics, Beauty & Wellness and IT/ITeS Sectors.
The STAR scheme, launched in 2013 by National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), was first of its kind initiative to boost employability and productivity of youth by providing them monetary incentive to voluntarily join an approved skill training course that is certified by Sector Skill Councils.
IACM trained 30000+ candidates in IT/ITeS, Retail, Automobile, Electronics and Banking & Finance sectors.
Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojna (DDU-GKY) is a Placement Linked Skill Development scheme for rural poor youth. This initiative is part of the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM). DDU-GKY has its origin in the Wage employment linked “Special Projects” for skilling component of the Swarnajayanti Gram Swarojgar Yojana (SGSY), which was subsequently renamed as Aajeevika Skills when SGSY was converted as NRLM. The Placement Linked Skills scheme, Aajeevika Skills, has been recently been further revamped in terms of announcement of Antoydaya Divas on 25th September 2014 as Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhayaya Grameen Koushalya Yojana (DDUGKY).
IACM has trained 10000+ candidates across 7 States i.e. Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan and Maharashtra, Bihar & Jharkhand and 3000+ candidates are in training process across various projects.
The employment in the Electronics industry is estimated to grow phenomenally. Hence to facilitate skill development in ESDM sector focusing on students/unemployed youth at 9-10th standard onwards, ITI, Diploma, Non-engineering graduates, etc. to increase their employability to work in ‘Manufacturing’ and ‘Service support’ functions, a ‘Scheme for Financial Assistance to select States/UTs for Skill Development in Electronics System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) sector’ was approved by DeitY in November, 2013.
IACM has trained 2200 candidates till Aug, 2016 and is targeting to train 10000+ candidates by March 2017. IACM is actively working across Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, New Delhi, Rajasthan, Tripura & Uttar Pradesh.
Under the Societies Registration Act (XXI of 1860) Orissa State Employment Mission (OSEMS) has been formed to facilitate and achieve the objectives of the State Employment Mission on a mission mode. As a part of new initiative, State Employment Mission has launched a new Placement Linked Training Programme in a PPP mode.
IACM started working with OSEMS in 2015 and has trained and placed 300+ students and has mandate to train 2000+ candidates in Bed Side Assistant, Electrician Domestic, Repair and Maintenance of Domestic Electronic Appliance and Welder (Repair and Maintenance) job roles.
IACM has established 10 skill development centres and is also mandated to set up 5 Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendra (PMKK) as well in Orissa State.
State Govt. after due thought conceptualized an initiative to make special projects and earmark special funds for the overall development of these most deprived sections among Scheduled castes. State Govt. decided to constitute a Commission known as State Mahadalit Commission in the year 2007. The prime basis of selecting these castes is their existing socio–economic status, participation in Government job, participation in social and cultural activities and educational status.
Under its Bihar Mahadalit Vikas Mission (BMVM) skill development program, now Dasaratha Manjhi Skill Development Scheme, IACM has trained 4000+ candidates across 40+ districts in Computer Hardware & Networking, ITeS BPO (Banking), ITeS BPO (Customer Care) and Web Designing Technology job roles.
Aajeevika – National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM) was launched by the Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD), Government of India in June 2011.
NRLM set out with an agenda to cover 7 Crore rural poor households, across 600 districts, 6000 blocks, 2.5 lakh Gram Panchayats and 6 lakh villages in the country through self-managed Self Help Groups (SHGs) and federated institutions and support them for livelihoods collectives in a period of 8-10 years.
In November 2015, the program was renamed Deen Dayal Antayodaya Yojana (DAY-NRLM).
IACM has trained 1375 candidates in Uttar Pradesh and 3084 candidates in Jharkhand in IT Hardware & Maintenance job role.
Swarna Jayanti Shahari Rozgar Yojana (SJSRY)
The Swarna Jayanti Shahari Rozgar Yojana (SJSRY) was launched on 01.12.1997 after subsuming the earlier three schemes for urban poverty alleviation, namely Nehru Rozgar Yojana (NRY), Urban Basic Services for the Poor (UBSP), and Prime Minister’s Integrated Urban Poverty Eradication Programme (PMIUPEP). The key objective of the Scheme was to provide gainful employment to the urban unemployed or underemployed through the setting up of self-employment ventures or provision of wage employment. The target population under SJSRY is the urban poor – those living below the poverty line, as defined by the Planning Commission from time to time.
IACM has trained 2500+ candidates across Delhi, Uttrakhand and Jharkhand in Data Entry Operator and Computer Hardware & Networking job roles.
Directorate General Resettlement, Ministry of Defence
The Directorate General Resettlement (DGR) is an Inter Service organization functioning directly under the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare (Ministry of Defence). In order to maintain a youthful profile of the Armed Forces, approximately 60,000 service personnel are retired/released every year at comparatively young age.
DGR assists Ex-Servicemen to train and acquire additional skills and facilitate their resettlement through a second career.
IACM has trained 300+ Ex-Servicemen in Managing Routers & Switches and Desk Top Publishing job roles.
