IACM Honours the National Hero, The First Indian Boxing Olympic medal winner, Mr. Vijender Kumar, from Bhiwani, Haryana.

A leading computer hardware training institute IACM, established in 1997, has welcomed the National Hero, the First Indian Boxing Olympic medal winner, Mr. Vijender Kumar, from Bhiwani, Haryana. On this occasion, IACM has awarded Rs.100,000/- to Sh. Vijender Kumar and Rs. 21,000/- to Sh. Jagdish Singh, Coach.

New Delhi, Delhi, September 27, 2008  — This facilitation ceremony was to appreciate the athletes from Bhiwani on excellent performance in Beijing Olympics and on shining the name of Bhiwani in world, which also happens to be the home town of IACM Directors as well.

While Addressing the need of bringing young people out of 130cr+ population , Chief Guest,Shri Ajay Maken Ji, Hon’ble Minister of State, Ministry of Urban Development,said that people also have to come forward and participate in the training camps organized by various sports authorities and an adequate infrastructure is also required to bring India among top 5 medal scoring countries in 2012 Olympic.

Guest of Honour, Sh. J.P. Agarwal, Hon’ble MP and President DPCC stated that the India is leading on International Map in IT, Nuclear, Space Technologies and in many other areas as well. Many Indian players are winning medals in various sports across the globe. Now the time has come where India should pull up its people and infrastructure to bring glory in Olympic 2012 as well, opined Sh Agarwal.

Sh.O. P. Goyal, Chairman, IACM SmartLearn Ltd., said while addressing the gathering that “Destiny is not by chance, it is by choice” If today’s youth determines to achieve anything, they have right kind of resources and opportunities available around them as compared to the youth of 1970-80s. The only thing required is to come forward and accept the challenge”
